Just saw this. Nowadays, i t’s hard to believe that this sort of thing used to be shown on TV. It was an interesting time, to be sure.
My trumpet teacher was one of the top studio calls in NYC for many years. When asked later in life what he thought of Miles Davis, he said, “I just can’t get past his bad trumpet playing.” Clearly, he was talking about the later Miles Davis, because there is nothing to fault here, when he was at the top of his game.
